Registration for IHBI Inspires 2019 is CLOSED.

Anyone intending to attend the annual conference must complete an online registration form. Please read the below registration information and our Terms & Conditions before you complete the form. The link can be found at the bottom of this page. Sponsor can register through the sponsor website.

QUT Staff and Students:

Please ensure you list ‘QUT’ as your Organization in the ‘Contact Details’ section.

You will need to know your IHBI membership details during the registration process. This includes your IHBI Theme and Program. If you are unsure of your IHBI Theme and Program, please confirm these details with your supervisor.

It is also your responsibility to check your presentation time and register accordingly.

Students only:

Please indicate the name and e-mail address of your supervisor.

Your completed registration will be acknowledged via email.

Please note that staff or students who register, but do not attend, must reimburse the cost of registration. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy on the IHBI Inspires 2019 website.

Please note all registration fees above are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Entitlements

Registration fees include conference materials*, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, refreshments, admission to all sessions and workshops. All registrations are subject to the conference Terms & Conditions.

Registration fees do not include accommodation.

Payment Procedure

IHBI HDR students:
IHBI HDR students who have abstracts accepted to present an oral or poster presentation will have their registration costs covered by their IHBI Research Theme provided they register during the Early-bird registration period (including the conference dinner). Any IHBI HDR students who register after the Early-bird registration period lapses will have their registration cost deducted from their student allocation.

IHBI HDR students who wish to attend but not present will be considered by their Theme, however due to limited spaces this will be based on how early they register. Priority will be given to students who are presenting. Please note, that IHBI HDR students who are not presenting can also utilise their student allocation to cover the registration costs.

Any IHBI HDR students who register and do not attend the conference will have their registration cost deducted from their student allocation except under special circumstances. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy.

IHBI Staff:
IHBI Staff will have their registration costs (including conference dinner) covered by their Research Theme or Program (if they register during the Early-bird period). Staff registrations will be covered as follows:

Health Determinants and Health Systems (HDHS) – Up to 25 academic staff, covered by their relevant Program

Injury Prevention and Trauma Management (IPTM) – Numbers may be capped depending upon numbers from each Program

Chronic Disease and Aging (CDA) – Numbers may be capped depending upon numbers from each Program

Any IHBI Staff who register after the Early-bird registration period will have their registration cost invoiced to them. Staff funded by their Theme/Program will be expected to participate in the conference through judging of oral or poster presentations. Any IHBI Staff who have their registration funded by their Theme/Program and do not attend the conference will have their registration cost deducted invoiced to them except under special circumstances. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy.

IHBI Staff who wish to attend but not present will be considered by their Theme, however due to limited spaces, priority will be given to staff who are presenting. Any IHBI staff who wish to attend but not present are more than welcome to fund their own registration costs.

External registrants:
Registration payments are required at the time of booking.

Payment is accepted via Visa or MasterCard. If you require other payment terms please contact the Conference Organisers at ihbi.inspires@qut.edu.au prior to registering.
