HDR students who have abstracts accepted and are presenting an oral or poster presentation will have their registration costs covered by their Theme or Program as follows:
- Health Determinants & Health Systems (HDHS) HDRs will be covered by HDHS Program(s)
- Chronic Disease & Ageing (CDA) HDRs will be covered by CDA Theme
- Injury Prevention & Trauma Management (IPTM) HDRs will be covered by IPTM Theme.
Due to limited spaces, early bird registration payment for HDR students who wish to attend, but are not presenting, will be considered by their Theme/Program, based on how early they register.
Priority will be given to students who are presenting an oral or poster presentation.
Please note HDR students that are not presenting can also access their student allocation to cover registration costs. Please see our cancellation policy. We encourage presenting and non-presenting students to consider using their student allocation if you have funds remaining and no intention of using the funds for the remainder of your candidature.
Staff registration costs will be covered as follows:
- HDHS by Theme (limited spaces)
- CDA by relevant Program (limited spaces)
- IPTM by Theme.
Due to limited spaces, registration payment for staff whom wish to attend, but are not presenting, will be considered by their Theme/Program. Priority will be given to staff who are presenting. Staff funded by the Theme/Program will be expected to participate in the conference through judging of posters or oral presentations.

Conference Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for registrations will only be accepted in writing to email@example.com Cancellations made prior to 8 August 2018 close of business will be refunded less 10% to cover administration costs. No registration refunds will be made from this date, however, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. This request for transfer must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday 14 August 2018 close of business. Please note Wednesday 15 August is the EKKA public holiday and the IHBI Events office will be closed.
Registered for the Conference and Do Not Attend Policy
Staff or students who register, but do not attend the conference and do not notify email@example.com by 8 August 2018 close of business, that have been paid for by their Theme/Program will be required to reimburse the cost of the registration, through a research account or student allocation account.
